SINOPSE DA SÉRIE
Dylan Hunt é o capitão do Andromeda, um navio, que serve na força militar dos Sistemas Commonwealth, uma monarquia que abrange várias galáxias. Hunt e sua nave são posteriormente congelados durante vários séculos. Revividos por um navio passando, Hunt está horrorizado ao descobrir que a Commonwealth teve um desmoronado e todas as galáxias conhecidas desceram para a barbaridade. Hunt decide pegar o seu navio e a tripulação, em uma viagem ao redor do cosmos para tentar restabelecer a ordem para nas conhecidas galáxias.
